Good indoor destinations include science centres (Heureka, Arktikum, Tietomaa), indoor playgrounds (Leo's, SuperPark), trampoline parks and spas. Many museums, such as Vapriikki, the Moomin Museum and the Kuopio Museum, also offer activities of their own for children.
Popular choices include escape rooms, laser games (e.g. Megazone, ZBase), bowling (e.g. BowlCircus Flamingo), karting and guided nature trips and saunas. Many venues have separate group and corporate packages and meeting rooms.

Yes. The costs of a customary recreational event arranged for the whole staff are deductible in income taxation, and the VAT on them is also deductible (Veronmaksajat 2024). An event arranged for customers is entertainment: 50% of it is deductible and VAT may not be deducted.
Yes. The sports and culture benefit can be used for cultural services such as museums, and the Museum Card can be paid for in the Museum Card online shop with Edenred, Epassi and Zevoy. The tax-exempt maximum of the benefit rises to 540 euros for 2026 (Parliament approved this in September 2026); the employer decides whether to raise the benefit.
The value added tax on admission tickets to museums, zoos, films, concerts and sports services is 13,5 % from 1.1.2026; previously it was 14 % (Finnish Tax Administration). The ticket price includes the tax, so the change is visible to the consumer only if the venue has lowered its price.
