Quick guide
- Open the file in Excel, LibreOffice Calc or Google Sheets.
- Clear the examples: type Esimerkit_Lounas in the Name Box, press Enter, then Delete.
- Check the Settings (Asetukset) tab and fill in the portion cards in the yellow cells.
- Enter the day's sales on the Päiväseuranta tab. The example recipes, prices and sales figures are fictional.
Value added tax
Default 13.5% (restaurant and catering services, foodstuffs). Source: vero.fi, VAT rates (updated 1.1.2026, checked 8.10.2026): 13.5% from 1.1.2026, previously 14%. Does not apply to alcoholic beverages (25.5%). The rate is an editable cell.

Excel files work in Excel and LibreOffice, Word files in Word and LibreOffice. There are no macros.
